Snipping Tool

Has anyone wished they could take a screen shot of something really cool but you either don't know about the PRNT SCRN button or you hate Microsoft Paint. Well, for those who don't have Windows 7 you're out of luck.

For those who do have Windows 7 there is a tool that Microsoft added called Snipping Tool (see picture). This allows you to take a snap shot of windows without having to use Paint to crop or highlight or point out features. Here is an example of what it can do:

Notice that this is not square, it is free form. You can do a boring old square but that doesn't make a fun blog entry.

Just thought this was cool and thought I would share.

There have been 3rd party apps for Windows much longer though, now there is just a Microsoft one.....3rd party ones work a lot better still though as far as the options available
